Dr. Abbie Fisher grew up in Western Massachusetts and knew from a young age that she  wanted to be a veterinarian.  After her under graduate degree from Bates College in Maine, she completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island.  After completing an equine internship in Washington State she and her husband returned to the east coast and she began to practice small animal medicine in hopes to get a more challenging and fulfilling career.  After 7 years of working as an associate veterinarian, it was time to start her own business.   In 2019, she started No Place Like Home - Mobile Vet (NPLH), which  allows her to treat pets with less stress and more personal care than the typical hospital environment.  In her free time she spends time with her three children, two dogs, two cats and her husband.
